Estate Planning

Did you know that 67% of Americans don’t have an estate plan? Froese Law strongly believes that planning for your eventual passing is key to living a life in which you can truly thrive, enjoying every moment and every day without fear of the future (or, at least without some of the fear). In most circumstances, Froese Law recommends that each person have 5 key estate planning documents: (1) Last Will & Testament; (2) Durable Power of Attorney for Financial Management; (3) Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care; (4) Health Care Directive (referred to by some as a Living Will); and (5) Authorization to Physicians. The first document (Last Will & Testament) becomes effective when you die, and the last four documents are generally effective immediately upon signing (unless you choose to have your Durable Power of Attorney documents effective upon your incapacity) and then terminate when you pass away.
